

Margie Murray
is a storyteller and artist in Residence at Studio Channel Islands in Camarillo, California. She works in oil, watercolor, pastel, ceramics and mixed media. As a teacher of young students, Margie has been an advocate of children’s learning and development. Conveying feeling through imaginary of nature has been a life-long passion, that she has imparted through her teachings in sketching and mixed media techniques. Margie is also a member of SCBWI, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.

Margie is an Artist Member of the California Art Club, Master Artist in Residence at Studio Channel Islands in Historic Old Town Camarillo where she is represented by the Blackboard Gallery and a board member of the Pastel Society of Southern California, American Women Artists, and a member of the Buenaventura Art Association in Ventura, California.
